Jenny’s Blocks, my signature furniture line, grew out of a common parental frustration - how to find stylish yet kid friendly furniture? Given I could never find anything that met my and my three young boys standards for being both hip and fun, I created my own line.

Jenny’s Blocks borrows from early childhood development techniques. Children’s development experts agree building blocks facilitate learning in a wide range of subjects. Playing with blocks stimulates young minds providing opportunities for social; physical; intellectual; and creative development. Pre schools like Montessori utilize building blocks as the core of their learning curriculum.

Observing my three boys play, I became fascinated by the creative structures they designed using old-fashioned building blocks. This inspired me to create life size furniture pieces modeled after a similar concept. My blocks function as stand alone furniture pieces or fit together to create one grand piece.

The blocks also unfold origami-style into a child's life size indoor playground. The blocks are made of dense foam that can stand up to the most active of kids -- trust me! The materials we select will help dictate the mood of your space. The blocks can be used in a sophisticated adult living space or a child's play space.

I've decorated numerous downtown lofts with Jenny’s Blocks. By day, the children configure their own play environments to match their imaginations. Kids have made rock band stages, lava pits, army forts, and tunnels. At night, the blocks transform back into stylish adult furniture ready for the hippest of cocktail parties.

The signature Jenny's Block design is a round ottoman. The ottoman unfolds into two semi circle rocking chairs and four half moon shaped kids seats. The blocks can be covered in a wide range of stylish fabrics.
